A structured, safeguarded program designed to encourage children through positive, age-appropriate communication.
How the Program Works
- 1You apply and complete our screening process.
- 2Approved participants are matched with a child through the program, never directly.
- 3Letters are written using first names only and sent through the Foundation.
- 4Every letter is reviewed by trained staff before delivery in either direction.
- 5Letters are delivered during program visits and responses are returned the same way.
Eligibility
Participants must be 18 or older, or a minor writing under the supervision of a parent, guardian, teacher or approved group leader. All participants complete screening and agree to program policies. Parent, guardian or authorized program consent is required for every child who takes part.
Child Safeguarding Rules
- • No home addresses, phone numbers, emails, social media or private contact of any kind.
- • No photographs of a child may be requested or shared without documented consent.
- • No gifts, money or promises of sponsorship sent directly to a child or family.
- • No requests to meet a child privately or outside supervised program activities.
- • Content must be age-appropriate, encouraging and free of political or religious pressure.
We never publish children's full names, home addresses, private contact details or other sensitive personal information.
